Casa Atelier MZ
Concept

While restoring a 20th century villa, the architects of ddba chose to create a sense of continuity between the interiors and exteriors with the surfaces of 70Materia. “We appreciate the product’s authenticity, its fascinating imperfection, and above all its ductility,” said the architects. “The creation of seamless surfaces ties in very well with our concept of architecture. Casa Atelier MZ is marked by a great sense of linearity, a feature that is intrinsic in this material’s DNA.”

Surfaces

The continuous surfaces establish an eclectic dialogue with the heterogeneous furnishings selected.

Indoor-outdoor continuity

In the villa, the natural Origine surface is presented in the Anticato finish indoors and in the Spazzolato finish outdoors, for utmost visual uniformity and consistency.
