FAQ

Pre and post sales services

Services

Since the material is never disconnected from its application, 70Materia serves above all as a project partner. That’s why we offer customers and partners a range of pre and post sales services, as well as on-site.

What if I can’t reach either showroom?

We’ll send you a mono-pack of the finish you’re interested in.  You can also buy a folder with all our finishes and colours, and the cost will be deducted from your first purchase.

Where can I see your surfaces first hand?

In our two showrooms. The Padua showroom is very extensive, and has the added benefit of being located next to our production site, meaning that you can also see how the material is made. In Milan, you will find a selection of our projects and some of their applications.

BEFORE
How do you calculate the quote?

On the basis of the project: size, characteristics of the space, type of material required, estimated working hours.

Can I get a quote?

We only provide a quote for floor and wall installations after we have seen the project or inspected the site. If, instead, you are interested in products such as our washbasins and furnishings, we can send you a price list or quote without the need for a prior inspection.

What do you mean by "inert matter recovered during renovation work"?

This is waste material from renovation sites. Recovering and transform it into a new floor or wall facing is a very stimulating and creative exercise, as well as an example of a circular economy and sustainable production.

Who makes the mix? Can I customise it?

We take care of everything: sourcing of the material, sampling and shipping to the customer.
The Progetto mix may be fully customised with any material you desire – glass, marble, inert matter recovered during renovation work, etc.  – based on the desired effect.

Can I change the level of sanding after the mix has been poured?

Yes. We ask our customers to be present during sanding, so that they can choose a different finish even at the last minute.

How is the surface applied?

After the last site inspection, we pour the mix and position the joints as agreed at the design stage. After 15-20 days, we sand the surface as required and then proceed with the final treatment.

DURING
What happens if the floor or surface gets damaged?

Ours is a very strong material and is unlikely to get damaged. However, should this happen, you can restore its appearance by re-sanding the surface.

How should I clean the floor or surface?

Perform routine cleaning with a mild floor detergent and a delicate cloth. Every two or three months, use a protective wax with a matt finish to protect the surfaces and enhance their appearance. Use a stain remover to remove coloured stains (oil, wine, coffee, ink, vinegar, etc.).
